Phun-size Philosophy # 72 – Contemplation

Contemplation is essentially the long thoughtful observations we have of calm and lengthy intent. It is the considerations we all have at some point in our lives that involves your attention and musings on a particular subject. When you contemplate you are thinking things over and have the process go through your mind where your senses bring in some information from external stimuli we encounter throughout the day and they formulate interpretations and analyze that info with our brains. Something that I personally love to do is derived from contemplation. Wondering is one of my favorite pastimes and they are basically the thoughts from which you have no basis for making an accurate or seemingly accurate decision or interpretation of events you have probably yet to experience. The thing that I like about wondering is that it spikes curiosity and can lead to potential inspiration. When you are contemplating you can be weighing the pros and cons of a particular situation. When you think something over you usually have multiple options or choices to choose from. If you are in that predicament where you need to decide over which options to pick from and will probably weed them out until you find the right one for your particular situation. If you make a decision you may have second thoughts on your actions or decisions. You may second guess yourself like when you make a decision but then think over the particular circumstance where your decision may not hold up and because of that you may realize that there may be other aspects you must consider before making a final decision. These second guesses as well as general contemplations are usually implemented in tough predicaments like when there may not be exactly one clear cut decision over another. Contemplating over things can also be used for recreation like philosophy and abstract concepts of life like I’m talking about now. I love contemplating over far out ideas because trying to wrap my head around them is enjoyable to me but it can also be a very useful tool in helping to improve your life.
